My friend, Jody Livingston, has a great Book of Mormon blog called "IN THE CAVITY OF A ROCK" at http://inthecavityofarock.blogspot.com/2011/05/were-multiple-races-depicted-in-ancient.html I recommend that you check it out and follow it. He's a great young man involved in The Book of Mormon Forum (BMAF) and he has posted some really interesting information.

Maybe you remember that I promised to post a photo of my finished macana or macuahuitl. Well, here it is - I hope you like it. It weighs about the same as my replica of King Solomon's sword shown with it below (which is probably similar in design to the sword of Laban), so I am sure it was a formidable weapon.

Three more posts at BMAF.org about Archaeology, etc. and the Book of Mormon. These new posts are: Reformed Egyptian and Maya Glyphs; Glass and The Book of Mormon; The Panti Maya Medicine Trail: An Example of the Preparations of God in the Promised Land of the Americas; all by Mark Cheney That makes four posts in September. I'm working on some new ones, but October is going by fast!
